Start with the right section

Wadi Hanifah covers a much wider valley than any one visitor destination. For a straightforward first outing, use the Sports Boulevard Wadi Hanifah visitor page and its directions. This guide covers that destination, not every path, park or access road along the valley.

Keep it simple

Choose a short out-and-back walk and turn around when it suits your group. For cycling, the operator allows visitors to bring their own bicycles and lists hire options. Check availability and charges if you need equipment; do not plan around an assumed rental reservation.

Entry and access

Sports Boulevard lists general entry as free, with exceptions for selected areas and special events. It lists access around the clock except for Sands Sports Park. Follow local signs and temporary closures, and choose a comfortable time for the weather on your day.

Know the on-site rules

Keep children supervised and respect the paths allocated to different users. Scooters and skateboards are restricted outside Sands Sports Park. Camping, cooking and barbecues are restricted to designated areas, so this is best treated as a walking or cycling visit rather than an improvised camp.
