JAX is a creative district in Diriyah with converted industrial buildings, exhibition spaces and working studios. It is a good choice when you want contemporary art rather than another conventional sightseeing stop. Choose a current exhibition or announced open-studio event before setting off.
A district is not a single gallery
You can stroll through the district, but that does not mean every building is open. JAX’s published visitor hours are Sunday to Thursday 10 am–10 pm and Friday to Saturday 4 pm–10 pm. Individual businesses and exhibitions set their own schedules; use the organiser’s listing for the visit you want.
Respect working studios
Artist studios are not routinely open for drop-in visits. Visit during exhibitions, announced open studios or an artist’s own invitation. Do not use an old biennale or art-week listing as evidence that its halls or studios are open today.
