Quick answers

2026 launch
Wednesday 21 October, with a ten-week headline programme announced by SPA.
Best planning approach
Choose the main event first and give it an unhurried evening.
Booking
Follow the official organiser’s link and confirm the exact year, date, venue and inclusions.
Zone calendars
The season launch does not establish every zone’s opening dates or admission.

Choose one main experience for your evening

Start with the show, match or entertainment zone you most want to see, then build dinner and transport around it. Riyadh Season brings different experiences together across the city; trying to fit several venues into one evening usually leaves less time for the part you came for.

For a show and dinner, start with Boulevard City. If a headline sporting event is the reason for your trip, secure its dated ticket before committing to the rest of the plan. Keep a separate evening for a larger destination when its current admission is confirmed.

Riyadh Season 2026: the confirmed starting point

The Saudi Press Agency’s 26 September announcement confirms that Riyadh Season 2026 opens on Wednesday 21 October 2026, with a ten-week programme under the theme Big Time. The announcement names sport, concerts, theatre, comedy and family entertainment, including the return of Boulevard City and Boulevard World.

That is the season launch, not a promise that every zone or attraction opens on the same day. Use the official programme for the particular event and date you want. Check the year as well as the day: some official zone pages still describe the 2025–26 edition. A ten-week headline programme also does not establish each zone’s closing date.

Understand the three kinds of booking

Keep destination entry, the experience itself and any restaurant reservation separate until the booking terms explicitly connect them.

Match the booking to the evening you want
Plan What to choose What to confirm
A show or sporting event One performance, match or session as the main event. Venue, date, doors, start time, seat category and entry rules.
A zone visit The setting and activities that suit your group. The zone’s own operating dates, admission and any separately priced experiences.
Dinner with entertainment A meal before or after your main activity. Restaurant reservation, service time and enough space between bookings.

Boulevard City and Boulevard World are different choices

Boulevard City is the useful starting point for a theatre or experience booking with dining around it. Its official visitor page describes the fountain, restaurants, shops and theatres. Choose one attraction you actually want rather than assuming every advertised experience is included in a general visit.

Boulevard World focuses on country-themed areas. It is announced as returning for 2026, but the official ticket page checked on 12 October still displayed 11 October 2025–2 May 2026. Wait for admission covering your intended date before building a trip around it; the previous edition’s prices, child concessions and programme are not confirmed terms for the new one.

Book through the organiser’s route

Begin at the Riyadh Season website and follow the relevant event or experience to its ticket page. The site links to Webook. Check the full title, year, venue and date before continuing, especially when a page marked “ongoing” sits beside older season material.

Before payment, check the final price, what admission includes, age or height restrictions, cancellation terms and the arrival instructions. Save the confirmation and entrance details. A listing or sign-in screen alone does not establish availability for the date you want.

Budget for the whole evening

Compare the final cost of entry, your chosen experience, food and the journey home. A low starting price for one activity does not describe the cost of the evening, and a ticket for one venue should not be treated as a pass to another.

For a group, agree on the paid activity before you arrive. Leave a little flexibility for a meal or break instead of booking consecutive time slots in different venues.

Plan the return journey as carefully as arrival

Use the venue’s named entrance and the travel instructions on your booking. Check the actual route from your hotel rather than relying on a general “Boulevard” map pin. The transport guide helps compare metro, taxis and ride-hailing.

If using the metro, confirm the onward connection and the service available when you expect to leave. Do not assume that a shuttle from a previous season is running, free or available after your event. Agree a suitable pickup point and leave time between the end of the experience and any onward commitment.

Make family plans around the actual attraction

Choose an experience for the youngest participant’s interests and eligibility, then allow a meal and a rest. The season’s family programme does not mean every ride, show or late performance suits all ages. Check each booking’s restrictions and any stroller, seating or accessibility arrangements you need. The Riyadh with kids guide offers other outings to balance the trip.

Use the seasonal weather guide to judge outdoor time and layers. A comfortable pair of shoes and a manageable programme are more useful than trying to visit every zone.

Build the rest of your trip around confirmed plans

Choose your base with Where to Stay once you know the main venue. Add a different kind of evening through Riyadh at night, or compare entertainment experiences with the separate Qiddiya theme parks. The planning hub connects transport, accommodation and other essentials.

Frequently asked questions

When does Riyadh Season 2026 begin?

The official announcement gives Wednesday 21 October 2026 and a ten-week programme. Check individual listings for each venue’s own dates.

Is there one ticket for all of Riyadh Season?

Do not assume a booking covers the whole programme. Check the exact zone, event and experiences included in the ticket you select.

Where should I buy tickets?

Start from the official Riyadh Season website and follow its booking links to Webook. Confirm the year, venue, date and full conditions before payment.

Can I use last season’s Boulevard World ticket information?

No. The listing checked on 12 October still showed dates ending 2 May 2026. Wait for admission information covering your intended visit.

Is there a free metro shuttle to every zone?

Do not assume so. Confirm the current service, route, operating times and any charge for the specific event or zone.
